BEFORE APPLYING, CHECK WITH YOUR STUDY ABROAD OFFICE.
The first step for all students is to determine whether your university requires you to apply through the study abroad office on campus before submitting an application to EPA Internships in Europe or whether you are allowed to apply directly through EPA. Discuss the program with your advisor and get approval from the relevant department at your home institution to enroll in the program. Check all the facts about credit, and make sure you clearly understand the procedures.
WHAT IF I NEED TRANSFER CREDIT?
If you need academic credit but cannot obtain it from your home institution, you can apply for credit through our school of record, the University of Rochester. If you choose this option, you will complete an online form after you have been admitted to the program, and a $1375 School of Record transcript processing fee will appear on your invoice.
The University of Rochester will award 4 credits for each class and 8 credits for the internship. This a contract between you (the student) and the University of Rochester to ensure the credit transfer.
