DEADLINES
EPA applications are received on a rolling admissions basis. All US universities and colleges have their own deadlines that need to be followed. We encourage you to apply early. This will allow more time for EPA to find you a great internship placement!

COST OF ATTENDING
All dates and fees are subject to change, due to academic calendar changes and fluctuations in exchange rates, but will be set before the application deadline.
Check with your school for the exact cost of the program. The prices listed are for students enrolling directly through EPA. Often students applying through their home institutions are able to use their financial aid and scholarships toward the cost.
The price of the program includes: tuition and housing, individualized guidance with CV and Cover Letter writing, internship placement and oversight, pre-departure and visa application materials, comprehensive on-site orientation, welcome and farewell dinners, on-site student support, and on-site program management. Grade reports and supervisor evaluations are sent to schools upon completion of the term.
You’ll want to budget for the cost of academic credit, air travel ($1000+), visa fees ($500+), meals, and commuting. These costs are not included in the program fees. Most students budget $200-$300 per week for expenses depending on their lifestyle and the value of the US Dollar.
ARRIVAL
Please plan to arrive before noon on the first day of the program. This means that you will likely make reservations to depart from the US the day before. Accommodation is only provided from the start date to the end date of the program. Students who wish to arrive early or stay late must find their own accommodations.
ACADEMIC CREDIT
EPA is not a credit granting granting institution so our fees do not include academic credit. The fees listed are for students directly enrolling with EPA.
If your school requires transfer credit from a university in the US, you can apply through the University of Rochester, and they will issue a transcript for your coursework and internship.
If you choose this option, you will complete an online form after you have been admitted to the program. Please be sure to list where the transcript should be sent. The University of Rochester charges a $1375 administrative fee for issuing the grades for the internship and courses and administering the credit. This additional fee will be added to your invoice from EPA.
The University of Rochester will award 4 credits for each class and 8 credits for the internship. This a contract between you (the student) and the University of Rochester to ensure the credit transfer.
