GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. If a student withdraws from a program before the program actually begins,
a refund will depend on the funds which have already been committed for
the student’s participation.
A total of $300 is non-refundable from any money paid.
2. If a student withdraws from a program once it has begun, no refund will be made unless both EPA and the student’s credit-granting institution (if applicable) have agreed to the withdrawal in writing. Refunds will be on a case by case basis and will depend on the unspent or uncommitted part of the program fee.
3. EPA reserves the right to ask a participant to withdraw from a program for serious breach of discipline. This extreme action will only be taken after full consultation between the student, EPA, and the credit-granting institution (if applicable). In this case, only unspent or uncommitted accommodation money can be refunded.
4. EPA cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss of time, money or possessions during the program. Participants must ensure that they have full insurance coverage (e.g. medical and personal possessions) for the duration of the program.
5. Participants are personally responsible for any liabilities incurred
or damage done while on the program.
6. EPA reserves the right to charge supplements to cover fluctuations in exchange rates, or any other unforeseen price increases, full details of which will be supplied.
7. EPA welcomes applications from students with disabilities and will do
whatever we can to assist with your study abroad and internship plans. Non-discrimination
legislation effective in the United States may not apply overseas and laws
governing rights to action and access can vary from country to country. Students
with disabilities may find some of our program sites more accessible than
others. We would be happy to work with you to select a program that accommodates
you and encourages accessibility in the community. If you require modified
facilities or specific equipment, we encourage you to apply as early as possible
so that we will have ample time to investigate availability and make a determination
as to reasonable accommodation.
