Study Abroad in Edinburgh

Edinburgh Work Experience

Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is as much a modern and cosmopolitan city as it is a living reminder of its ancient roots, made famous through Scottish legend and literature. It is not only at the administrative, legislative, and financial hub of Scotland, but also serves as the country’s cultural center, and is at the cutting edge of medical research. As such, Edinburgh is teeming with internship opportunities for students.

Edinburgh is an energetic and youthful city due to its three universities and several colleges. Culture abounds – from that of important museums such as the National Museum of Scotland and the National Gallery to local culture such as the brewing and distilling traditions, and historic pubs and cuisine.

EPA has developed a strong network of companies across various industries to offer placements to our interns. EPA students receive competitive placements for internships from a broad portfolio of opportunities. Since the 1970s we have provided internships for our students, initiating their professional life for a better future.

Semester students take two course modules at Edinburgh Napier University from a wide selection that is offered. All summer students participate in a class arranged by EPA that covers the History and Culture of Scotland.

Edinburgh Accommodation

Students are housed in apartments centrally located in a splendid 18th century part of the city known as "Newtown". It is within very easy walking distance of Princes Street, the main shopping area of the city. Newtown is full of restaurants and bars that are very popular with the large student population and we have had excellent feed-back from students on recent programs.

Educational Programmes Abroad has undergone a review for educational oversight by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
