Application Checklist
An application requires that you download/complete all four parts outlined below:

- Essay A: Personal statement - In a short essay (no more than one page) explain why you would like to do an international internship. You should include information such as how previous coursework or experience relates to the internship field you have selected. Other details might include your short and/or long-term goals, or information about your career plans.

- Academic reference - Required
- Character reference - Recommended
- Foreign language reference (Foreign language internships only)
- Internship Application Form - Part 4 (Housing and Medical Information Form)
Other Requirements
- An official transcript for each college attended — Have the Registrar mail it directly to EPA or give it to you in a sealed envelope so that you may send it along with your application materials.
- Résumé Your résumé or C.V will be a major criterion for both selection and placement in the Internship Program. Please try to keep the résumé to one, single-spaced document that includes: academic and practical experience that directly relates to the type of internship for which your are applying, relevant courses you have completed, are currently enrolled in, or plan to take before you go abroad, as well as computer programs you use comfortably, and previous international travel, work, or study experience. - Copy of Passport — If you do not already have a passport, you will need to apply for one as soon as you decide to participate in the program. When you have obtained your passport, please send us a copy of the photo page as soon as possible.
- English Language Test Results Students applying for the London or Edinburgh who are not originally from a majority English speaking country must prove that they are competent in English at a Level B2 with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). If submitting TOEFL scores, these must be less than two years old. .
